A vision does not become a reality through magic; it takes prayer, faith and a continuous battle with the so-called doubt. Every vision starts with a vague picture that its bearer would doubt of its fulfillment.

 

Back in the years when the vision just started, I was only doing an online work myself, learning as much as I can as to what it is to become a VA. Over the course of time with much exposure to tasks and different tools, I find myself really enjoying the tasks that I could really see doing it on a long term basis. I can’t put being a VA in just a box, its scope is so wide and its tools and learning potentials are so vast and unlimited that I found myself astonished just to the idea of growing my skills and being able to add value to my clients.

 

This to me is a precious discovery. I almost felt like an inventor who have discovered something so unique that I can’t almost wait to share it to the world for them to experience what I have experienced as well, especially to those who mattered to me. I did not realize that the vision, just like a labor pain of a mother who is about to give birth, has birthed in me. I started sharing the things I’ve learned to my Pastor and to some of my close colleagues as well. They too have shared my vision and helped me birthed it.

 

What was once a blurred picture to me became clearer and clearer as the days go by. I want to create a platform where I could share what I have learned as a VA and train someone to become just like me. It then made sense to create a company where I can multiply myself, thus the name Ripple.

 

A ripple is a small wave or a slight movement of a surface of the water. Have you tried or have you seen someone throw even a little rock into the ocean and noticed a small wave that was created? That’s a ripple effect. With the vastness of the universe we live, we are really just little rocks thrown into the ocean called life and whatever we do has a ripple effect to those around us -- may it be in a positive or a negative way.

 

I am this little rock yet I want to create a positive ripple effect to those around me. Having a platform (VA business) is one way of sharing my skills and training someone. But to me this is just but a piece of a cake, which anyone else could just do. The company has to live up more to its name. The vision became wider and complete when not only are we creating a positive ripple effect to the community (VA community) but also to our clients and to our mission ministry.

 

• VA community -- by multiplying equally competent, trustworthy, highly-skilled, world-class Filipino virtual assistants.

 

• Client - by multiplying our value to their business as we continue to grow our skills and hire us at a very reasonable price.

 

• More importantly, to our Mission ministry --by multiplying our resources to give more to our mission ministry.

 

This sets us apart from the rest of the VA companies out there because the core of our mission is to win souls for Christ and become a mission partner through our monthly mission funds. Part of the overall profit of the company goes directly to our mission funds to support our mission ministry. Wondering what a mission ministry is? This is a ministry which helps our church outreaches in the tribal areas of the Philippines to educate them about life and more importantly about God.

 

To date, we are growing and growing in all aspects of our vision. Living by our mission and rooted in our core values. We not only desire to grow in quantity,  but also in quality.

 

We are little rocks turning ripple into waves because we want to make a difference in the world.
